What are the Advantages of Solar Energy? Many! Solar Energy is produced by our Sun in space – so all of the waste materials are handled by the Sun naturally in outer space. In other words, no ugly by products like smoke, smog, waste materials, etc. The solar panels used to produce solar energy are a clean source: no products like smoke, smog, etc. from the solar panels. Additionally, Solar energy may also help the economy. Think of all the jobs that could be created if we went more solar. This could be a great way for the government to create many valuable jobs. This might be similar to what was done with the Tennessee Valley Authority during the Great Depression. We still use the valuable dams created by this great government project during that era. Progress was made by this endeavor! We have only scratched the surface.
